Text Duplicator
Duplicate any text up to 500 times, with the separator you choose between copies and, when you need them told apart, a number, prefix or suffix on each one.
Repeating a piece of text sounds like a small job until you’re doing it for the fortieth time. A form needs thirty rows of sample content, a layout has to be tested with far more text than it will ever really hold, or a worksheet needs the same sentence written out again and again. Copying text multiple times by hand means a lot of pasting and a count you can’t quite trust. This text duplicator takes your text once, repeats it as many times as you ask, up to 500, and puts the separator you choose between each copy. When the copies need telling apart, it can number each one or wrap it in a prefix and suffix, so a single line becomes a ready-made list.
Quick Answer
To duplicate text online, type or paste it into the Input box, set how many copies you want (1 to 500), choose a separator, and click “Duplicate Text.” The repeated text appears in the Output box, ready to copy or save as a file.
How to Repeat Text Multiple Times
Add the Text and the Number
Type or paste your text on the left, or upload a .txt file. The box above is set to 10 copies, so change it to the number you need.
Decide How the Copies Are Joined
Pick None, Space, New Line, Comma or Custom. Open Advanced Options if you want each copy numbered, or wrapped in a prefix and suffix.
Click Duplicate Text
The result appears on the right, with counts for both boxes. From then on, changing the number, the separator or an option rebuilds the result on its own. If you edit the input text, click Duplicate Text again, or press Ctrl+Enter.

What Is a Text Duplicator?
A text duplicator, also called a text repeater, takes whatever you give it and writes it out again and again, as many times as you ask. People reach for one when the quantity matters more than the wording: filling a field with sample content, seeing how a layout copes with more text than usual, or building a list in which the same entry has to appear over and over. Two choices shape the result: how many copies, and what sits between them. The whole input is repeated as one block, so a two-line text comes out as line one, line two, line one, line two. Unless you switch on numbering, a prefix or a suffix, every copy is identical to the original.
When Would You Use This?
Sample content for a form, a spreadsheet or a test database: one entry repeated fifty times, a new line between copies, is faster than typing it.
Layout and field testing. Paste a paragraph, ask for 300 copies, and see where a text box, a card or a table stops coping. Long text is where designs tend to break.
A starter list of values for code. Repeat 0 fifty times with the Comma separator and paste the result straight into an array.
Ready-made HTML list items. Type one item, set the prefix to and the suffix to , choose New Line, and every copy comes out wrapped.
A teacher’s practice sheet: the same sentence, spelling word or sum written down the page, numbered so pupils can tick each one off.
A message or caption where a word or an emoji has to appear a set number of times, joined with spaces.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the most copies I can make?
500 in a single run. If you need more, copy the result, paste it back into the Input box and duplicate it again. Very large results can slow your browser, so build them up in steps.
Does it repeat each line separately?
No, the whole text is repeated as one block. Two lines, “apple” and “pear”, repeated twice give apple, pear, apple, pear, not apple, apple, pear, pear.
How do the number, prefix and suffix fit together?
Each copy is built in the order prefix, number, text, suffix. With numbering on in the “1.” style, a prefix of “- ” and a suffix of “;” turn the text “milk” into “- 1. milk;”. Leave numbering off and you get just the prefix, text and suffix.
What can I use as a custom separator?
Up to 10 characters, typed exactly as you write them: a pipe, a semicolon, a short word. Codes such as \n for a new line aren’t converted, so use the New Line button for that.
Is my text uploaded or stored anywhere?
It’s never uploaded. Your text, the output and your settings are kept in your browser’s own storage so they’re still there when you come back, and the Clear button removes the text.
